STOLEN wins Best Editing and a Special Mention at Doc Edge, NZ.

At the Documentary Edge in New Zealand on the 3rd of March 2010 STOLEN was awarded as Best Editing and a Special Mention for Best Film.

It was a great achivement for Dan Fallshaw as STOLEN was the first feature film he edited. Thanks to Deborah Dickson for her wise advice, hard work and support while editing in New York. Thanks to Ray Thomas for the first months editing STOLEN. Thanks to Tom Zubrycki for his overall support. Thanks to Justine Moyle that believed in the project and gave us the final push!

STOLEN wins at PAFF.

At the Pan African Film Festival in LA on the 18th February 2010 STOLEN was awarded as Best Feature Documentary.

Well done to everyone who worked on the film and congratulations. It was a team effort and couldn't have been achieved without the hard work of many people. 

We continue to raise the profile of the film bringing the issue of slavery to light and to the attention of people all around the world. 

Well done!

Stolen has been selected to screen at the human rights festival in Warsaw.

 

 

Stolen is selected for IDFA

Stolen has been selected to screen at the prestigious International Documentary Festival in Amsterdam. It will screen in the First Appearance competition. The festival starts on the 19th and runs through to the 29th November.

John McDowell plays in concert in Toronto

It's an absolute treat to announce that John McDowell the composer of the wonderful musical score for Stolen will be performing in concert with Emmanuel Vukovich at Toronto’s Heliconian Club on Friday after the last screening of Stolen during the Toronto Film Festival.

The event will take place at Toronto’s Heliconian Club, 35 Hazelton Avenue, on Friday, September 18 at 8pm.

We are proud to announce that STOLEN is in the shortlist for the Spirit Award!!!

The emphasis of the Independent Spirit IF Award is on rewarding filmmakers with compelling projects often made in unconventional ways...The three nominees will be announced on the 12, October 2009.
